Police Information OfficerMan succumbs to injuries after Tender Pier Construction Accident
Police confirm that a worker who sustained injuries as a result of accident at a construction site near the Cruiseship Pier has died.
26-year-old Quezie Wilson, a Guyanese national residing in Sea Cows Bay died around 10:45pm last night at Peebles Hospital.
Wilson was rushed to Peebles Hospital in an unconscious state early yesterday afternoon following his rescue from the waters near the construction site at the Cruiseship Pier. He was at the time working with the company Odyssey in constructing the new dinghy dock.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
