Police are investigating a stabbing of a prisoner at Her Majesty's Prison early this morning.
The victim is presently at Peebles Hospital in stable condition.
Officers of East End Police Station responded to a call from officials of Prison. Both East End Police and the Criminal Investigation Unit are investigating this incident.
