Police with the use of Police K-9 dog Ciro uncovered 38 dime bags of marijuana in the Crablot area over the weekend.

Early Saturday morning, the team from Operation Crackdown along with K-9 Ciro was deployed to several hot spots in the Road Town area including the Crablot. The dog found the dime bags totally 45.9 grams concealed under the home in the area.

Over the past year, officers of Operation Crackdown have conducted well over 100 operations within the Crablot area, an area prone to drug and violent crime activity. Its largest seizure of cannabis in the Crablot area to date is 101 grams of cannabis.

No arrests have yet been made in connection with this seizure.
